Today is my fifth day as a temporary vegetarian {for more info click here or here}and I already ate some incredibly good stuff. Stuffed red onion, mushroom lasagna, pasta italiana, ... I'll try my best to put the adapted recipes on here asap.

Now on a completely different note! As I told you before I wrote a letter to myself to read one year from now, when I'll be turning 24. Old and shit. Life moves fast. One day you're crawling around with a diaper and the next second you're living alone doing grown-up stuff. Together with that letter I made a list with 24 things to do before I turn 24.
24 before 24
try one exotic meal I can't pronounce
spend two internet-less weekends
read three books recommended by friends {let me hear y'all}
do 4 cartwheels in a row {but first; learn how-to}
bake a five layer-cake that doesn't collapse
live six days completely vegan
host a fancy dinner for seven unknown people
buy eight people a coffee, just because
visit 9 {european} countries
memorize ten poems to whisper in someone’s ear
host a movie marathon {eleven movies; fo real}
enjoy a 12 hour nap {there's no rule everything on this list should be hard}
drink 13 different kinds of beer {I'm sure mr. boyfriend will happily assist me on this one}
leave fourteen pennies for people to find {sharing the luck, sister}
give cookies to fifteen people
compliment sixteen complete strangers
be able to jog for 17 minutes without a pause {I know this is an easy task for most of you... my condition sucks balls. Deal with it }
fold 18 paper cranes; write a little message on them and leave them behind at random spots.
donate 19 euro {or more} to a good cause
survive a week {five days} with only twenty euro cash
share a glass{/bottle?} of wine with a 21-year old
host a party for 22 friends
listen to an album from every year since I was born {so 23 albums in total}
mail 24 handwritten letters
Watch out! Crazy year coming up!
But now; seriously... Some
semplice insalata di pasta italiana / vegetarian antipastosalad
yields: 2 persons
about 100 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 handful of black/ mixed, pitted olives
100 g cherry tomatoes, halved
8 sun-dried tomatoes
1 handful rocket salad
1 small handful of basil leaves; shredded
1 TBSP pesto, store bought or home made
one: put a large, well salted pot of water on to boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
two: add the shredded mozzarella while the pasta is still lukewarm. This will allow the mozzarella to melt and form a nice gooey texture
three: pull fresh basil leaves from the stems. Cut them in long thin pieces.
five: in a medium bowl, toss together the mozzarella, tomatoes, olives and basil.
six: toss the completely cooled pasta together with the pesto until well coated. Fold in the other ingredients until well scattered. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference.
note: my favorite homemade pesto recipe can be found here. But most often I'm too lazy and just use store bought; good enough.
second note: don't you like the copyright watermarks? They're so retro... Honestly; I was trying out this new photoshop thing and didn't notice them until just now.
final note: if you're not a vegetarian I would advise you to throw some prosquito into the bowl. You can't go wrong.

I think that list is awesome and I know you'll get all of those things done and then some! This pasta salad sounds delicious, as well =)
I am so glad to hear that you can't do cartwheels. I thought I was alone...
@Peggy; thank you, you're major! I already drank one really strange beer, so one down; (1+2+3+...-1) a lot to go.
@Motiva: Always glad that I can make people feel better about themselves! :) One of my many gifts... Thanks for dropping by.
I too like the list ;)
