Mouthgasmic brownies

Ok. So I could've called these pretty babies; better than brownies.
Because they totally are gooier, fudgier and more breath taking than your average brownie.

I also could've called them heart-breaking brownies
Because they'll do. They'll rip your heart out and tear it apart. No biggie.

I've heard the name 'slutty brownies' before but that name simply doesn't do justice to the mouth-watering recipe below.

I could call them cookie dough-snicker-brownie-rolo's-brownies.
But hey! Would you seriously present them like that? That would mean it would take you four more words before you can put a piece in your mouth.

So I decided to simply stick with 'mouthgasmic brownies'. Cause that's exactly what they are!

Asian inspired chicken salad with coconut dressing

I made y'all a salad.
A bonkers awesome colorful salad which doesn't require a lot of time, money or butter.
It's incredibly healthful too; we've got a whole bunch of vegies, skinny chicken, fresh herbs...
Look at us; being al healthy and shizzle!
No worries though. We'll still have butter for dinner.

Salmon tartar with ginger, goat cheese and anchovies

My homies and I went to an all-you-can-eat sushi bar.
We came in starving and left with our bellies so full that we had to loosen our belts!
Really... the buttons of our pants broke..
we burped...
we may have farted a bit...
We fought.
The ugly way.
With words and sushi.
Mostly sushi though.
... myeah...
The waitress didn't particularly like the four of us.

Update on days without meat | Vegetarian love

About 2 months ago I set a challenge for myself.
I wanted to cook and eat for 46 days without any meat or fish. Some of you have done the same. Some of you were already vegetarians.
You and I, we made the world just a tiny bit better.

Pear chèvre salad

This is the deal:
last sunday {better known as easter} I ate to much.
Not just a little... but waaaaay to much.
I had: alligator, mussels, melon with prosquitto, portugese tarlets, chocolate cake, fruit tart, tortilla, a cheese platter and fruit salad.
On one day.
True story.

His Family | Goat cheese pizza toppings

I'm going to meet His Family!!
{the larger one: aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, ...}

Totally no biggie.
I know.

Except...
Which cake should I bake?
Is this dress too short?
Will they like me?

Are they going to ask stupid questions?
Won't I give too many stupid answers?

Black pepper tofu

Cornflour and tofu

Before you say anything
You should know that I doubted a long time...

I simply wasn't sure if I wanted to share this dish with you guys.
Not because it isn't good.

En contraire.
It's absolutely delicious.
Your tastebuds will scream for more.
Truth!

Beer is awesome! | Corona (cup)cake

Something you guys might know about me is that I never was a big lover of beer.
I always loved wine in all varieties,
I loved tea and coffee
I loved bubbles and  coctails.

But until recently I simply didn't like the taste of beer.

{yes.
I'm from Belgium.
No.
I'm not ashamed to admit this stuff.}

Then, something changed:

I made a list with challenges I set for myself in this upcoming year. One of those challenges is to drink 13 different kinds of beer
{In the course of  a full year, mother. Not on one night, Jeez louise!}

So this is what happened:

Beer 1: Yuk. Gross.
Beer 2: Err. Yeah. Whatev'
Beer 3: This one is actually not that bad.
Beer 4: Such a rich and very complex aroma...
Beer 5: Beer = good!

And this is what happened next:
