Pimped out brownies

There are few things women never seem to get enough of:
dresses
love
&
brownie recipes.

Having one brownie recipe is like having one single dress. Even if it's plain perfect it just won't suit every occasion, mood and day... You need a messy, over the top brownie recipe on hand for your broken-hearted girlfriends while you also need a fancy and quick brownie recipe for a barbecue among friends.
Those are the unwritten rules of girldom.
I might be thinking this too much through, I know.

These goeey and chewy brownies only need cocoapowder {not bar chocolate, so you can spend more money on that dress} and one mixing bowl {so you can spend your time licking your spatula instead of doing dishes}.

The fancy chocolate topping pictured above is totally an open option; if you're in a rush you could use some powdered sugar instead.

Take on your fancy pants:

If all else fails; put some sprinkles on it.

Brownies:

150 g butter
3/4 c (75 g) cocoa
1 1/4 c (275 g) caster sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c (75 g) flour

Topping:

some bars of dark chocolate
some bars of white chocolate

Brownies:
one: preheat oven to 160 degrees.
two: place butter, sugar and cocoa in a saucepan over low heat and stir until the butter is completely melted
three: take the saucepan of the heat and add the sugar and eggs, whisking well.
four: add the flour and whisk to combine.
five: spoon the mixture into a 20cm- square cake tin/ brownie tin lined with non stick baking paper.
six: bake for 30-35mins or until centre is just set.
seven: let cool in the tin and cut into squares to serve.

Topping:
one: melt the chocolate au bain marie or with 30 second-intervals in the microwave
two: dip the brownies into the molten chocolate
three: use the other color of chocolate to put dots, stripes or silly figures on top of the brownies
four: let rest for at least 2 hours
five: share

I might have screwed some up. No biggie. Sprinkles to the rescue!

Oh, and if dancing bear doesn't crack you up I'm not sure we should still we be friends... Enjoy!
