Stuffed zucchini
It's that time again!
Exams are starting within a week.
The sneaky little bastards are already peeking behind the corner...
It's time to say goodbye to our social life and live among the socially isolated.
The mathematics course is already seriously overshadowing the bbq's, picknicks and sunny afternoons.
It sucks really hard, but it's for the good cause. Don't you give me that look.

Palmiers, baby!
last sunday was mothers day.
What have you guys done to spoil your mom?
My mama got an enormous brunch.
I made indulgent cinnamon rolls and roasted peaches with a crumble topping.
They were totally worth the three full hours {!} of work.
My sisters made amazing scones with clotted cream and jam,
a fancy fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice...
For my mother-in-law I wanted to make something simple and easy,
something that doesn't require hours of work or complicated ingredients like yeast.
Still, I wanted to win her heart with something sweet and cute.
Well, I'm glad to tell you these little heart-shaped palmiers did the work, baby!
It's hard to believe these crispy puffy cookies require only three ingredients and three minutes of work.

Mind-blowing candied carrots
I like good food.
I guess that's not a secret.
Since I've started cooking I learned that
sometimes the best stuff contains lots and lots of butter,
sometimes the most delicious things are made out of snickers and brownies and
sometimes really good food needs planning, waiting and sweating...
Obviously it came as a total shock to me when I tasted
these five-minutes-better-than-candy-healthy-carrots.
These colorful, bright, incredible sweet and tasty carrots are a total mind-blower, without any effort.

Pomegranate chicken curry - Khoreshe Fessenjan
Hey girl, it's ok:
- to have pie for breakfast!
- to do a silly dance in the library when the boringness {totally a word} is getting on you!
- to wear a dress; even when it's raining like hell!
- to look like you're about to have a heart attack when on two-minute jog...
{maybe not, i'm working on that one}

Dark choc and pink pepper biscuits.
The pretty Pink Pepper met Dark Chocolate on a sunny afternoon.
They shared their first kiss on a crispy, crumbling cookie
and even though Pepper was a bit of a tease,
they had a way of completing each other.
It was love at first bite.

Vegetarian apple-sage chickpea burgers with roast potatoes.
Yesterday, Julie and Elke from supo {Dutch online magazine, not the pill in the butt, folks} came to dinner.
These girls are so much fun!
